On July 20th we held our Summer Handicap. July is a busy month for running and many people are away on holiday, so it was a small but elite group who gathered for this event. However, there was plenty of enthusiasm from both runners and marshals. Tim Straughan was a worthy winner of the handicap trophy, finishing first, in a time of 33.50. Andy Parkinson had the fastest run of the evening, finishing in 31:18, winning 100 grand prix points, whilst Vicki Johnstone was the fastest lady finishing in 44.08, also winning 100 grand prix points. Well done to everyone who took part and apologies for the lateness of this report. Thank you also to everyone who volunteered to marshal and help with timekeeping.
