We will have 5 groups at GSAL, all at 6:10pm start
GSAL is overbooked by 7. I have put 5 prospective members and 2 year zero members on a waiting list for places. If you are in the 80 who have got a place but are unable to come, please let me know ASAP (by text or Facebook) so that I can give your place to one of the 7.

Also the groups are out of balance – some are over booked, some have vacancies – I will do some shuffling on the night but will try to generate the least upset of moving kids away from their friends.
Anyone who doesn’t cancel by 2pm and then fails to come will have lower priority for the 7 July session at GSAL. The later you cancel, the lower your priority for 7 July. If you don’t cancel and then fail to come, you will have the lowest priority for 7 July.
I.m sure there will be a few cancellations but if these aren’t in the overbooked group I will need to move one or two from this group to another group. I will email those affected
Come to GSAL at 5:55 or 6:10, according to the following “rule”
- NB no-one should try to enter the site before 5:50
- Parents who are listed to help as group leaders or activity leaders please come at 5:55 (with your kids) to help set up. Please see list below
- All other families please come at 6:10. This will save you having to entertain your kids for 15 minutes while we set up.
- We expect to finish at 7:10pm. Anyone entered for a track and field event may stay longer for extra practice
If we have to cancel or change the venue, there will be a message here by 4pm Tuesday.

The “Names For …” page that you are reading deliberately doesn’t repeat information in the “Training at GSAL 2026” page- you do need to read both pages.
Having said that – key highlights from the GSAL page
- Don’t bring more than 2 children unless they are all yours.
- Don’t arrive on site before 5:50pm
- Park in the back car park not in the main car park nor by the track
- Accompany children from car park (and on way back afterwards)
- Don’t let your children run on the track or play on the equipment before the session
- Go to the toilet before the session (this is near the sprint finish – turn right just before the tennis courts)
- Don’t let your children scuff the track
- Be available to help
