Saturday 15th May 2010 Juniors at 10:00a.m., Seniors at 10.30 a.m.

from Old Leodiensians’ Club, Crag Lane, off King Lane, Alwoodley, LS17 5PR

(one mile north of Sainsbury’s Centre Moortown, opposite King Lane shopping parade)

Senior course approximately 7½ miles on footpaths along and near Meanwood Valley Trail

Juniors 7-10yrs 1 mile, 11-16yrs 2 miles, on fields and footpaths

Entries received after 8th May are subject to late entry surcharge, and numbers should be collected on the day.

Prize list includes :

Men : 1st / 2nd / 3rd. Vets 1st O-40, 1st O-50, 1st O-60
Women : 1st / 2nd / 3rd. Vets 1st O-35, 1st O-45, 1st O-55
(other prizes depending on number of entries in each category)
Junior race : 1st Boy and Girl in each age group 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-16

For all finishers :

Seniors : a bottle of beer - "Meanwood Meander" supplied by Briscoe's Brewery
Juniors : a certificate showing time and position

Entries on day :

Will be accepted subject to 400 limit for Senior Race.
£2.00 surcharge seniors / £1.00 surcharge juniors
Eligible for prizes. Note that the senior race limit was reached 3 days before the race in 2007.

The Meanwood Valley Trail Race is the third race in the Airedale Triple Trail Challenge, the others being:

Airedale Triple Trail Trophies for 1st MU40, M40-49, MO50, WU35, W35-44, WO45 in the series.

Airedale Triple Trail Certificates for all runners who complete all three races.

All profits from the Meanwood Trail Race will be donated to Lineham Farm, which gives deserving local children a unique, rewarding and memorable holiday in the country. In the last 10 years our races have raised over £9,500 for Lineham Farm. If you would like to raise sponsorship money and/or receive information, please indicate on your entry form.
