TRAINING NIGHTS are:

Old Leodiensians' Club ("Old Leos"), King Lane, Leeds (1 mile North of Sainsbury's)
except Winter second Tuesday in month from
Carnegie Athletics Track (see below)
- NB March 2008 special schedule - 5th=3x10, 12th=5x6, 19th=Track, 26th=hills
- 1st Tuesday in month, "10 minutes" : 3 times 10 minute run with 2½ mins rest,
Summer on Eccup Reservoir Footpath,
Winter on High Ash Avenue, Alwoodley
- 2nd Tuesday in month, "400 metres" : 16 times 80 seconds effort then 45 seconds rest,
Summer on Eccup Reservoir Dam,
Winter at Carnegie Athletics Track /

- 3rd Tuesday in month, "miles" : 5 times 6 minute run with 1½ mins rest,
Summer on Eccup Reservoir Footpath,
Winter on High Ash Avenue, Alwoodley
- 4th Tuesday in month, "hills" : rolling hills (when leader reaches top, everyone turns round),
Summer on Eccup Reservoir hill to Alwoodley Lane (8 times),
Winter on Church Lane, Meanwood (6 times)
- 5th Tuesday in month (when there is one), "pyramid session" : 2.5 min, 5 mins, 7.5 mins, 7.5 mins, 5 mins, 2.5 mins,
Summer on Eccup Reservoir Footpath,
Winter on High Ash Avenue, Alwoodley
- Tuesday IS suitable for beginners, read the "more information" section below, you will not slow the rest of us down!
- "Steady" run also available each week (but not suitable for beginners)

- Thursday 6.45p.m. all sessions from Scott Hall Sports Centre, Scott Hall Road (the A61), Leeds
- Approximately 7 miles at approximately 9 minute mile pace (faster runners wait for slower ones), Summer on Meanwood Trail or Roundhay Park, Winter various well-lit routes.
- If 10 or more runners turn up, this will split in to two groups, faster and slower.
- Thursday is NOT suitable for complete beginners, you need to be able to run 3 or 4 miles continuously AND to be able to run for 7 miles in total - if in doubt, email us letting us know your previous running experience and we'll assess which is the best session for you
- Sunday 9.00a.m. (was 9:15) all sessions from Smithy Mills Lane
- Anything from 10 to 16 miles at approximately 8 minute mile pace (faster runners wait for slower ones), generally up the Meanwood Trail and then towards Harewood or Bramhope but many other routes
