2 mile junior race / senior fun run at 10:00 - 10 mile trail race at 10:35

The 10 mile§ race is on footpaths and bridle paths including parts of the Leeds Country Way, Dales Way and Ebor Way.

The route is traffic-free, half in Harewood House grounds, half around Eccup Reservoir and passes Emmerdale Village.

The 2 mile§ race / fun run is mainly on tarmac paths, the rest on good footpaths. There is one long hill!

§ These courses have been measured by surveyor's wheel but due to the nature of the terrain cannot be given an official certificate

Facilities include : refreshments (tea/coffee/sandwiches/cakes), water at half-way & finish, portaloos

Entry fees :

10 mile: £8.00 (UKA affiliated club) / £10.00 (unattached)    
2 mile: £3.00 (junior) / £5.00 (adult)

Postal entries :

Closing date : Saturday 25th September. Please enclose an A5 S.A.E. with normal postage. (If sending larger S.A.E. please ensure large postage is applied)

Entries on day :

Will be accepted - subject to entry limit (750 for 10 mile, no limit for 2 mile)
~ Eligible for prizes ~ £2.00 extra for 10 mile, £2.00 extra for 2 mile

Prize List includes :

Trail Race Senior Men (3), MV40-49 (3), MV50-59 (3) MV60+ (2)
Senior Ladies (3), LV35-44 (3), LV45-54 (3), LV55+ (2).
(plus other prizes depending on number of entries in each category)

 

Junior Race Boys : 1st place in each age group 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-16.
Girls : 1st place in each age group 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-16.

For all 10 mile finishers :

A bottle of beer "Harewood Trail Ale". Personalised certificate showing position and time for those donating or raising £10 or more.

For all 2 mile finishers :

A medal. Plus a personalised certificate showing position and time for all juniors.
