Subject: V S Update - Run 100k for Max parts 1 and 2, Baildon swaps,
pie/peas, Leeds Half
Run 100k for Max part 2 – also Friday 26 March
We conducted a straw poll at the club tonight and
found that many Striders won’t be able to do the Run for Max on Friday
morning at 10:30, so we’ve set up
a second Run for Max in the evening at 6pm, meet Oakwood Clock
5:50pm-5:55pm and we plan to do 3 or 4 laps each (walkers do 1)
We have over 15 Striders already saying they are going
to the funeral and wake, so if you can get away from work, come along.
If you can’t get away from work during the day, come
to Run 2 for Max. NB if you’re working a bit late, aim for
6:15-6:20 and join the second lap.
Please wear your Valley Striders vest.
Here’s a map of the lap http://www.mapmyrun.com/route/gb/leeds/583126929788377241

Message from Alison Rose
Hi Bob, I
have just had a chance to read this email (I am on a backlog - the peril of
spending too much time by a physio couch!) what lovely comments! It was
fantastic to get such great feedback and as a team, we all said that we had a
lot of fun doing the session, and what a lovely group the club is. We would be
delighted to return to do another session.
Thanks again for such lovely feedback and for arranging the session.
Hopefully see you soon, Ali
