Subject: A quick VS update

Good luck to everyone on Sunday – weather forecast is to be bright but chilly (better than snowy and windy).

Current Grand Prix positions are now on the website so you can see what you need to do to move up in your groups – no pressure!

After the race, meet on Town Hall steps just above the finish and then some of us are going on for breakfast.  Nat Crossland has recommended: “Angels Share in Chapel Allerton on Stainbeck Lane just off Harrogate Road opens at 10am on Sunday serves brunch and large enough venue to accomodate us”.  I’ve looked at the menu and the bacon and egg muffin or full English looks good!

As a result of Tuesday’s meeting at the club, we now have a list of Grand Prix races for 2008, which I’ll try to put on the website over the weekend.

Paul White has been busy collecting subs, we now have 126 paid and 80 to pay.  Also, if you owe for West Yorks XC, please pay £6 to Paul.

Paul Hunter has been distributing Anniversary T-shirts and taking orders for Striders jackets, he’s at the club most Tuesdays.

Remember £9 to Steve O’Callaghan for Xmas meal (details in last V S Update).

Re Cross country - I have West Yorks results to hand and will have details of the final race.  And we need to enter for the Yorks XC (5 Jan) and Northern XC (26 Jan) by around the 10th of December so consider whether you want to enter.
