already entered, but want to run, contact me before this Thursday
(10th)
Amsterdam Marathon
Sheila Grant ran 3:42:12, knocking a minute off her
PB but not changing her place on the "Any Other Marathon" list. Michael
ran 3:28, 3 minutes slower than his Rotterdam time.
Snowdonia
Marathon
Bill Murphy ran 3:50:42 and Sara
Dyer 4:21:10
This puts Bill 11th on the "Any
Other Marathon" list and moves Sara up to 16th, overtaking Sheila Grant and
Geoff Webster
Grand Prix
Status
Just 4 races to go (Burley Bridge on 12th, Wakefield x/c on 19th,
Abbey Dash on 27th, Guiseley x/c on Dec 4th)
In group A, Drew has 798 points and Brian 699. This means that
if they each win 2 of the last 4 races they would both finish with a perfect
800. Drew is well clear in the M40
category.
In group B, Simon and Bob both have 775. Bob is well clear in
the M50 category
Group C and D have clear leaders in Eric Green and Bob
Wilkes.
In group E, Peter Stevenson leads from Sheila Grant but Sheila has a
race in hand. John Bucktrout, Emma Jenkins and Sara Dyer are also in with
a chance.
In the Wimin's section, Jules has 752 from 8 races, only Sam (470
from 5) can catch her. In the Wimin Vets, it should be one of Sheila
543 from 7, Sara 467 from 6, Mary 460 from 5, Sylvia 415 from 5 (Mivvy 553
from 7 does not qualify as she turned 35 this
year)

before that, John's group "Baker's Fabulous Boys" are appearing at the bluegrass
night at the Grove pub in Leeds on Thursday November 24th, any Striders
interested in going?
